Glen Thomas Powell Jr. (born October 21, 1988) is an American actor. He began his career with minor roles on television and in films such as Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over (2003) and Fast Food Nation (2006). Powell acted in the action film The Expendables 3 (2014), the comedy-horror series Scream Queens (2015–2016), the teen comedy Everybody Wants Some!! (2016), the historical romance The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018), and the romantic comedy Set It Up (2018). He also portrayed astronaut John Glenn in Hidden Figures (2016) and aviator Tom Hudner in Devotion (2022). Powell became famous for starring in the action film Top Gun: Maverick (2022) and the romantic comedy Anyone but You (2023). He has since starred in the dark comedy Hit Man(2023), which he also co-wrote and produced, and in the disaster film Twisters (2024). Michael Jon Carter works as a guard at a superhero museum in the 25th century. Everybody thinks and tells him that he is a loser. So, he gets sick of being a loser and steals a super-suit, a guardbot, and a time travel machine. All of this surpisingly works, so he travels back in time to the 2020's known as "the age of heroes". There he becomes a super hero and calls himself Booster Gold. Along the way, he uncovers a plot that includes both Blue Beetles. It turns out Ted Kord was kidnapped by a villain named supernova. It turns out that supernova kidnapped Ted to lure Booster because it turns out that Ted and Booster become good friends in the future. It turns out Supernova is Boosters dad, who went insane after Michael's sister died. Along the way Booster becomes good friends with Ted Kord and meets Rip Hunter.
