It roams the woods & swamps outside of Fouke, scaring away the town citizens. Then it begins to attack & kill livestock. But as some of the residences begin to hunt it down, it’s forced to fight back & starts attacking whoever goes into the woods & swamps. A young boy called Jim & his mother where the first to see it but are ridiculed, so Jim tries to prove that it’s real, while the town sheriff who’s thinking about the citizens, tries to drive away or put down, whatever it is that’s out there.
