In a world inhabited by monsters, where gladiatorial combat is the most important sport, we follow the story of Richie, a monster who has just lost his parents and must rebuild his life in the big city with his grandmother. Upon learning that his grandmother's gym is about to be closed and demolished by a large company, it will be Richie's duty to gather a group of misfit monsters to participate in the BMR, a gladiatorial tournament, to save his grandmother's gym.
