Leslie Odom Jr. (born August 6, 1981) is an American actor and singer. He has performed on Broadway and in television and film, and has released two solo jazz albums. He is known for originating the role of Aaron Burr in the Broadway musical Hamilton, a performance for which he won the 2016 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical and the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album as a principal vocalist. His television roles included Sam Strickland in the musical series Smash (2012–2013). He is also the author of the 2018 book Failing Up.

He built them the machine and it was capable of teleporting anything or anyone to another dimension that he had discovered and named the Negative Zone When no one would test the machine he took it into his own hands and went there by himself When he was there he was imbued with insane amounts of radiation that should have killed him but instead he was given incredible powers more than had ever been seen When he returned and told his best friend and Conner Sims he became jealous and went there to get the same powers but the machine was damaged from the last trip when Sims attempted to use it and it collapsed in on him leaving him trapped inside it in the Negative Zone for years. After his girlfriend finds out about this she encourages him to become a hero and use them to protect people He keeps this going for a few years and becomes the beloved superhero Blue Marvel but one day he is fighting a villain and his helmet breaks revealing his identity When this happens people begin to turn on Brashear and public perception of him changes Eventually it gets bad enough that president JFKreluctantly asks him to step down and no longer be a hero Adam only asks for one thing for funds to rebuild the machine and retrieve his friend
