Jason sees the ARK in the sky, and memories flow through Shadow's head, giving him an anxiety attack, making him unfit for duty. Later, Rouge and Tom relay the plan to Sonic & the Phantom Rider. Tom says that Rockwell would want to see Jay's face as she destroys Mobius, so he oughta be on the bridge. Tom says that the timer for the cannon to fire is only 10 minutes, and only five minutes for the Chaos Emeralds to charge it. Rouge mentions how Rockwell has the Emeralds, and Sonic says "Thanks a lot, Snively!" So, they take a portal ring to get to the ARK, find Jay, shut down the cannon before it fires, destroy the ship, and get back. Jason says that it was his fault Jay got captured, so he finds him while everyone else take away the Chaos Emeralds and shut down the cannon. They must not leave one Chaos Emerald unturned. Why? Because even one is enough to blow up a moon! There were seven places that each of the Emeralds were. Jason collected one on his way to find Jay. Sonic collected one, then Rouge collected two, then Agent Stone, then tom, then Cassie finally finds the final one. Or did she?
