Rouge and Shadow used to be in a relationship Sally knew about before they broke up. When Rouge comes knocking on Shadow's door after so many years, Shadow said "Please don't tell me there's a 16 year old girl waiting in the car." Rouge teased, saying "She's 15." (Of course, she was joking!) Rouge had come to recruit Jay and Jason because GUN knows about Blue Justice and the Phantom Rider. But also, she missed Shadow. He was like a brother to him. And seeing Jason and Shadow's other kids make her tear up. But she has also become a determined senior agent for GUN now that it's under better care because of Sonic's old caregiver Tom.
