In the shuttle, on their way back to Mobius, Jay now has the time to apologize to Jason about being reckless and Jason also apologizes for being arrogant. They are officially partners once again. Cassie hugs Jay, thanking God that it was all over. Sonic thanked Tom for helping. Shadow goes to the co-pilot's seat to help Rouge pilot the shuttle. Rouge grins and says "Just like old times, right, handsome?" Shadow grins back, saying "Yes. Maybe even better." As they returned to a hero's welcome home, Amy, Mandy & Nicky hug Sonic and Jay while Gerry, Maria, and Sally hug Shadow. Tom & Rouge leave Sonic & Shadow's families to relish in the victory they earned.
