Larissa Cartes, known professionally as Leia, is a Brazilian-Japanese singer, dancer and former member of RANIA (라니아) and BLACKSWAN (블랙스완). She is the second Brazilian idol in the K-pop industry and the first female. She was officially part of RANIA (using her real name, Larissa) after she was added to the lineup in 2019, but was never part of any promotions as the group re-branded due to the agency's financial problems. She then became the sub-vocalist, visual, lead rapper, dancer and maknae of BLACKSWAN and debuted in 2020 with their 1st album, "Goodbye Rania". In late 2022, DR Music revealed she had returned to Brazil to receive psychiatric treatment and went into an indefinite hiatus. In mid-2023, group leader Fatou revealed the 4-member lineup was the final one, implying Leia had left the group.

The film begins with the Shinkoru Clan, one of Japan’s most feared ninja factions, suffering a catastrophic defeat after an unknown traitor leaks their secrets to the ruling samurai. Their compound is burned, their warriors massacred, and the survivors scattered. Kaito, the son of the clan’s leader, is a skilled yet rebellious ninja who fled the battlefield years earlier. Kaito is now a wandering thief using ninja techniques for petty crimes. He’s drawn back into the fold when his estranged sister Ayame now the de facto leader of the clan, tracks him down and begs him to return. The clan has a single mission: assassinate Lord Kanemori, the warlord responsible for their downfall. Kaito reluctantly joins the remnants of the Shinkoru Clan, only to find that they are no longer unified. Each survivor has developed their own unorthodox techniques to survive. The group trains together in a hidden forest sanctuary, clashing constantly over their unorthodox approaches and questioning whether the old ways of the ninja are still relevant. As they infiltrate Kanemori’s fortress, they discover his plan to unify Japan by building a private army equipped with early European firearms, which would destroy the era of the ninja forever.
