"Born of blood. Raised in darkness. Hunted by both." In a world plagued by shadows, one man walks the line between the living and the damned. Eric Brooks, known only as Blade, was born the night his mother died—her last breath stolen by a vampire’s bite. Cursed with the thirst of a predator and the soul of a man, Blade is neither human nor monster—he is the Daywalker. For years, Blade has waged a secret war against the hidden vampire underworld that manipulates humanity from the shadows. With enhanced strength, agility, and the unique ability to walk in daylight, he is their greatest threat—and their greatest fear. But when whispers of an ancient prophecy arise—a “Pureblood Reign” that could tip the balance and plunge Earth into eternal night—Blade must face not only the undead, but his own haunted legacy. Forced to ally with an unlikely band of supernatural misfits and guided by his mentor Abraham Whistler, Blade uncovers a terrifying truth: the vampire who killed his mother… may still be alive—and more powerful than ever. As war brews between vampire clans, and Blade confronts the monstrous hunger within, he must choose: Will he remain a hunter of the night, or become the very thing he swore to destroy? “You can’t outrun what you are. But you can choose who you fight for.” Blade: The Daywalker is a gritty, visceral tale of vengeance, identity, and sacrifice. This is where the legend begins.
