Stephen Norrington (born 1964) is a British film director whose credits include Death Machine and the comic book adaptations Blade and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
Blade is depicted as having all of a vampire's strengths and none of the weaknesses, except for the bloodlust. Blade attempts to suppress the thirst with a serum, but during the first film, his body develops a resistance to it.
