King T’Chaka of Wakanda travels to Latveria on a diplomatic mission to stop rising tensions. Latverian scouts have been caught stealing Vibranium—T’Chaka hopes to strike a trade deal: Vibranium in exchange for Latverian tech and resources. But upon arrival, King Victor Von Doom springs a trap. He imprisons T’Chaka, revealing his true plan: force Wakanda’s king to give up all Vibranium and submit to Doom’s rule. Stripped of his tech and cut off from Wakanda, T’Chaka is held beneath Castle Doom. There, he finds an unlikely ally—Namor, king of Atlantis, also captured by Doom for his kingdom’s secrets. Though they distrust one another, the two monarchs forge a temporary alliance. Together, they fight through Doom’s mechanical guards, unlock the castle’s arcane barriers, and spark an escape. The climax is a brutal showdown between T’Chaka and Doom, two kings unwilling to yield. The fight ends in a draw, but the escape is a success. Back home, T’Chaka and Namor declare a formal alliance between Wakanda and Atlantis. Their first act: prepare for war. In the post credits scene we see Doom looking over the Darkhold, as he puzzles as an ancient prophecy, he makes a call, to Mephisto.
