Sonny Strait is an American voice actor, ADR director, and writer, known for his work on a number of English versions of Japanese anime series and as an illustrator for the independently published comic book series Elfquest. Strait has provided the voices for the titular character from Lupin the Third as well as Krillin and Bardock in the Funimation English adaptations of Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Super, and other Dragon Ball media since 1999. He also voice acted as Usopp in the English adaptation of One Piece.
Rokuro Okajima is a run-of-the-mill salaryman who is down on his luck in his life and career. As if his current misfortune wasn’t bad enough, he was kidnapped by a mercenary crew which raided a ship he was on. Whisked away to what uncertain fate lies before him, he finds himself arriving at the harbor city of Roanpur, located somewhere in Thailand by Cambodia, where organized crime runs its streets and everyday livelihoods, and the criminal denizens call home. Following one misadventure after another, with nowhere else to go and no one else to turn to, Rock has since decided to join the crew, dubbed the Lagoon Company, on its many exploits, most often violent and explosive at times. With Rokuro, now dubbed “Rock”, as an additional member, the group consists of gunslinger Revy, captain and lead man Dutch, and computer whiz Benny, and they take to the seas on a torpedo boat called the Black Lagoon, dealing in shipments of cargo and other varieties of missions.
