Following the events of the first installment, Luke Carver and Dante Jimenez attempt to resume their lives as hunters for the Order of Saint Arcadio. However, a series of murders among hunters during the holiday season forces them out of their hiatus. What begins as a one-off investigation soon reveals the existence of an ancient winter vampire race and a much larger conflict between different factions that have secretly coexisted for centuries.
Forced into an alliance with a group of vampire hunters, Luke and Dante must confront a war that extends far beyond what they thought possible, where none of the old rules apply.
