Billy Shears isn't anyone special, he lives in Liverpool in the 1960s, he can play a mean bass, he can sing...and he looks exactly like Paul McCartney. This all culminates when he watches Paul die in front of him in a car accident on November 9, 1966. Billy then meets The Beatles is given the impossible task of replacing Paul McCartney.
