Twenty-five years after reluctantly raising a kid who wasn’t his, Sonny Koufax (Adam Sandler) is now a semi-responsible adult with a law career and a comfortable, if slightly chaotic, life. But just when he thinks his wild parenting days are behind him, Julian (now in his 30s) shows up on his doorstep — stressed, newly single, and dragging along his own 7-year-old son.
