Jade is a character in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series. The lifelong friend of Princess Kitana, she serves as both one of Shao Kahn's personal assassins and spies, and as the personal body guard of Kitana. Jade made her debut in Mortal Kombat II as a secret character before making her playable debut in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. She has remained a recurring supporting character since her debut.
