Spider-Man Noir is an older, grumpier version of Peter Parker from a 1930s New York during the Great Depression. He became a vigilante after his uncle was murdered, gaining his powers from a spider bite while investigating a smuggling ring. He is a private investigator who uses his spider-powers and a more brutal, hard-edged approach to fight crime.
