For the sequel series Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, the theme song was re-recorded by Janice LeAnn Brown, who portrays the character Billie. This new rendition includes a fresh verse tailored to the series, with brief ad-lib snippets featuring Selena Gomez's voice. The full version of this updated theme song was officially released by Disney on January 24, 2025.
