Taka, later known as Scar, is the main antagonist of Disney's 1994 animated feature film The Lion King and the deuteragonist-turned-supporting antagonist of Disney's 2001 direct-to-video prequel film Mufasa: The Lion King. He is a deceitful lion who was the son of Obasi and Eshe, the best friend turned adoptive brother and later archenemy and murderer of Mufasa, the former love interest and adoptive brother-in-law of Sarabi, the arch-nemesis and adoptive nephew of Simba, and adoptive grandnephew of Kiara and Kopa. He is a member of Disney Villains franchise.
