Before passing his cosmic belt to Stargirl, Star-Spangled Kid is an old sidekick of S.T.R.I.P.E and as he grew older, he changed his name to Skyman and became part of the Justice Society. Like his teammates, Skyman is one of the retired superheroes who lived in the nursing home in the present day. But S.T.R.I.P.E remained part of the Justice League with his step-daughter.
