it's strange and unusual girl moves in with her stepmother and her father who is in denial about his wife dying. little do they know that a couple who is now deceased is still in their house but they are trying to get this new family to move out but since they are deceased they can't really do anything and they are not seen by the family. they all end up meeting a guy named Beetlejuice (the strange and unusual girl Lydia and the deceased couple).
