Gotham is drowning in chaos. After years away, Bruce Wayne returns to Gotham carrying the trauma of his parents’ murder and a silent vow: no one else will suffer the way he did. But the city he comes home to is far worse than he imagined—a decaying empire ruled by corruption, organized crime, and powerful men who profit from fear. As the violent Red Hood Gang terrorizes the streets and the city’s elite pull strings from the shadows, Bruce realizes wealth and influence alone can’t save Gotham. To fight the darkness, he must become something more than a man… he must become a symbol. In his first year as Batman, every mistake costs blood, every victory creates deadlier enemies, and the line between justice and obsession begins to blur. Alongside a young but honest James Gordon, Bruce wages war on a broken city while the foundations of a new age of madness begin to rise. His greatest battle won’t just be against criminals—it will be proving Gotham is still worth saving. Before he became the Dark Knight… he was a man learning how to fight an entire city.
