After loosing Jason Todd is a horrific fight with The Joker, Batman/Bruce Wayne is left traumatised by the death of his second sidekick. However, an encounter a year later with Two Face leaves Tim Drake, the son of one of Two Face's henchmen, orphaned. The two soon find themselves teamed up in a worse war against crime in Gotham when Two Face teams up with a new villain named Mr. Freeze.
