Rian Craig Johnson (born December 17, 1973) is an American filmmaker. He made his directorial debut with the neo-noir mystery film Brick (2005), which received positive reviews and grossed nearly $4 million on a $450,000 budget. Transitioning to higher-profile films, Johnson achieved mainstream recognition for writing and directing the science-fiction thriller Looper (2012) to critical and commercial success. Johnson landed his largest project when he wrote and directed the space opera Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017), which grossed over $1 billion. He returned to the mystery genre with Knives Out (2019) and its sequel Glass Onion (2022), both of which earned him Academy Award nominations for Best Original Screenplay and Best Adapted Screenplay, respectively. Additionally, Johnson is also known for directing three highly acclaimed episodes for the television series Breaking Bad (2008–2013), namely "Ozymandias," "Fly," and "Fifty-One"; for the latter, he received the Directors Guild of America Award for Outstanding Directing—Drama Series in 2013. For months Tim Drake insisted that Batman train him to become his Robin after he discovered his identity, Bruce refused for a while until Tim's perseverance showed him a potential he hadn't seen before so he agreed to train him but showing him that he must have a much greater concern than the previous ones for what he has experienced. In Arkham Asylum while patient Jonathan Crane was being taken to psychiatry, a guard handed him a bag with which he sprayed his fear toxin on everyone in the wing, but no alarm sounded, Hugo Strange approached the place with a special mask telling Jonathan that he has a deal for him, he just has to follow his instructions if he wants to escape from the place alive. In Gotham the Bat-Signal was turned on arriving at the place Batman, Batgirl and Robin where they are informed that Crane seems to have taken control of the entire Arkham Asylum receiving a distress call from Hugo Strange so they go to Arkham being received by Hugo saying where they could enter and supposed safe places so that the criminals do not attack them, in addition to the fact that Catwoman arrived at the place in secret since that day she had planned to recover a necklace that was taken from her during her brief stay in the place.
