Sebastian Stan (born August 13, 1982) is a Romanian-born American actor. He gained recognition for his role as Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe media franchise, beginning with the film Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), and serving as a lead actor in the Disney+ miniseries The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021) and the film Thunderbolts*( 2025). On television, Stan played Carter Baizen in Gossip Girl (2007–2010) and the Mad Hatter in Once Upon a Time (2012), and starred in the miniseries Political Animals (2012). In 2022, he received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Tommy Lee in the Hulu series Pam & Tommy, earning nominations for a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award. On Broadway, Stan has appeared in the Eric Bogosian play Talk Radio (2007) and starred in the William Inge play Picnic (2013). On film, Stan had a supporting role in The Martian (2015), and starred in I, Tonya (2017) and Fresh (2022). For his performance in A Different Man (2024), he won a Silver Bear for Best Leading Performance and a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor. For his portrayal of a young Donald Trump in The Apprentice (2024), Stan earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. For months Tim Drake insisted that Batman train him to become his Robin after he discovered his identity, Bruce refused for a while until Tim's perseverance showed him a potential he hadn't seen before so he agreed to train him but showing him that he must have a much greater concern than the previous ones for what he has experienced. In Arkham Asylum while patient Jonathan Crane was being taken to psychiatry, a guard handed him a bag with which he sprayed his fear toxin on everyone in the wing, but no alarm sounded, Hugo Strange approached the place with a special mask telling Jonathan that he has a deal for him, he just has to follow his instructions if he wants to escape from the place alive. In Gotham the Bat-Signal was turned on arriving at the place Batman, Batgirl and Robin where they are informed that Crane seems to have taken control of the entire Arkham Asylum receiving a distress call from Hugo Strange so they go to Arkham being received by Hugo saying where they could enter and supposed safe places so that the criminals do not attack them, in addition to the fact that Catwoman arrived at the place in secret since that day she had planned to recover a necklace that was taken from her during her brief stay in the place.
