Fan Casting Lord Batman in Batman V Superman: Dark Knights of Tomorrow

As mentioned in previous installments, because of black Kryptonite, Superman's personality has been split into multiple halves, making him a half-tyrant, half savior. The battle between him and Batman is brutal and causes much death and destruction in Metropolis, before they finish the fight in the Hero's Park memorial site, where Bruce jams a gold Kryptonite spear through Clark's chest, piecing his personality back together and nullifying his powers. Desspite wanting to kill Superman, Bruce ultimately decides to keep him alive, locking him up inside a Red Sun Prison in the Justice Tower when The Regime is rebuilt.
