Superman's immense power and defeat of Brainiac solidify him as Earth's premier hero, but instill deep distrust in a cynical, retired Bruce Wayne (Bale). For Bruce, that level of uncontrolled power is an unacceptable existential risk. Lex Luthor exploits this fear, using salvaged alien tech to orchestrate false flag attacks that frame Superman for global chaos. The public's faith in the Man of Steel erodes. Convinced Superman must be contained, Batman dons advanced armor and travels to Metropolis. The clash of ideologies is inevitable: the pragmatic man driven by fear vs. the noble alien committed to hope. Their battle is interrupted when Luthor unleashes a genetically engineered monster (Doomsday/Brainiac hybrid). With the timely intervention of Wonder Woman, the heroes realize they are being manipulated. They must put aside their ideological war to defeat the true threat. In the aftermath, Bruce and Clark form a cautious alliance. Batman recognizes Superman's integrity, and the two establish the foundations for a united global defense team. -This is my own history with my own universe-
