Bruce Wayne is in a dark place. After fighting three different Jokers and being incapacitated by a C4 bomb, he now finds himself in a darker version of his world, one where there is no Superman, and his father, Thomas Wayne, is Gotham's Dark Knight. Bruce, feeling that what his father has done as Batman in the form of killing many of his enemies is wrong, is trying to convince him to change his ways, but first must help him fight his own battle: that being, a civil war between two halves of the Justice League in the wake of Clark Kent's death by Thomas's hands. And while he must try to get his father to change his murderous behaviour, plus fight the civil war alongside him, Bruce knows that he has to find a way out of this timeline. The only thing is he has no idea how to do so..
