Candice Rene King (née Accola, born May 13, 1987) is an American actress and singer. She is best known for her role as Caroline Forbes in The CW supernatural drama series The Vampire Diaries and her recurring role as the same character on the spin-off series The Originals and Legacies. In December 2006, King released her debut album, It's Always the Innocent Ones, independently in the United States. King toured as a backing singer for Miley Cyrus's Best of Both Worlds Tour. She appeared as herself in the 2008 3D concert film Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert. Accola had guest appearances in a number of television series such as How I Met Your Mother, Supernatural, Drop Dead Diva, and The Oriville.

After a few months of grieving of the death of Superman; Bruce Wayne returns to crime fighting as the Caped Crusader Batman after Jim Gordon reveals information of a new mob gang spreading through the streets in Gotham lead by Roman Sionis. Sionis and his men have been hijacking Gotham’s illegal drug trade to sell them off illegally. It is the job of Batman and the GYPD to stop the load of drugs from getting into Sionis’s hands. Batman arrives at Gotham Harbour in time before the load of drugs can enter the surface. While defeating Sionis’s henchmen Batman is faced with a guy in a Red helmet and brown leather jacket that he names the ‘Red Hood’. Batman and the Red Hood encounter with the latter on top. Red Hood and Black Mask escapes with the drugs as Batman retrieves to the Batcave. Bruce and Alfred begin researching the Red Hood’s every moment; which each moving looking similar to the training Bruce received at the League of Assassins. Bruce goes off to Arkham Asylum to meet with Ra’s daughter and Bruce’s former lover Talia. Talia reveals that the man behind the mask is Batman’s adoptive son Jason Todd. Jason was initially killed by the Joker however Talia and her father brought him back to the League of Assassins to resurrect him. Ra’s decided to take him in and train him to become stronger and more skilled than before, perhaps more skilled than his former mentor Bruce. Jason filled with anger and hatred vanished from the League in order to find the Joker and kill him.
