Timothy Leonard Dalton Leggett (born March 21, 1946) is a British actor. He gained international prominence as the fourth actor to portray fictional secret agent James Bond in the Eon Productions film series, starring in The Living Daylights (1987) and Licence to Kill (1989). Beginning his career on stage, he made his film debut as Philip II of France in the 1968 historical drama The Lion in Winter. He took roles in the period films Wuthering Heights (1970), Cromwell (1970), and Mary, Queen of Scots (1971). Dalton also appeared in the films Flash Gordon (1980), The Rocketeer (1991), Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003), Hot Fuzz (2007) and The Tourist (2010). On television, Dalton played Mr. Rochester in the BBC serial Jane Eyre (1983), Rhett Butler in the CBS miniseries Scarlett (1994), Rassilon in the BBC One sci-fi series Doctor Who (2009–2010), Sir Malcolm Murray on the Showtime horror drama Penny Dreadful (2014–2016), and the Chief on the DC Universe / HBO Max superhero series Doom Patrol (2019–2021). He portrayed Peter Townsend in the fifth season of The Crown.

Shortly after the first season, Batman forms a good duo with the powerful hybrid Amphibian Woman, but he knows that the war on crime is not over yet. After being visited by one of his former lovers, Talia Al Ghul, to tell her about the secret history of his older half-brother, Yushiro, eldest son of Ra's Al Ghul, and his probable upcoming arrival in Gotham, he solves a series of creepy murders in Gotham's largest church, perpetrated by a Scarecrow fan. To avoid a gang war, and after having faced Deadshot and other mercenaries, who were newbies in Gotham, he had Black Mask arrested, but the real person responsible for all that was a mafioso who remained in the shadows for the moment while waiting to take over the business of Sionis. The Dark Knight also discovers who the mastermind is who brought the Brotherhood together a short time ago and who is in contact with Mothman, a super-centenarian German scientist who has long created powerful enemies for him to prove to everyone that Batman is the greatest hero ever ! In such a context, the Bat will have to fight not to become what he has been fighting for so long...
