This leads him to dressing up as the Batman and taking up a viglante esk life. He thinks he's helping Gotham city. A crazy dr. of psychology Johnathon Crane finds this Bat viglante to be annoying after gaining some media attention. He then uses advanced tactics to maniplaute Batman to be where he wants him and uses his fear toxin to show him his deepest fears. The fear toxin is actually just a spray bottle of water that Bruce imagines is fear toxin.
