The second movie in the DC-CU is one of DC Comics’ most iconic characters: Batman. This movie’s version of the Caped Crusader takes elements of the Dark Knight Trilogy, Ben Affleck’s Batman, Gotham’s Batman, and Matt Reeves’ The Batman. The film will be a bit of an origin story (As tradition), but it will mainly focus on Batman in his prime. Also, this film will not have the Joker as the main villain, however, he will be seen in flashbacks as the Red Hood, also, Harleen Quinzel, the character that would become Harley Quinn, will also appear as herself before she swore allegiance to the Joker, the villain will be Waylon Jones, also known as Killer Croc, who has been sighted in the waters of Gotham City killing officers that tread too close to his territory. This Batman movie will also introduce Dick Grayson (Explored/expanded on in a spin-off TV Series) as the first Robin and Commissioner Gordon, who are trying to help Batman stop Killer Croc, it will also feature Alfred Pennyworth and Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman. As for fights, the beginning shows a past Batman chasing Red Hood and trying to grab him before he falls in a vat of acid, then there is a horror-styled first fight with Killer Croc in the sewers where we don’t see much of him, and finally building up to his grand reveal as Batman fights and apprehends him. This movie will also tie into a spin-off prequel series similar to the Gotham TV series, but with Bruce Wayne as the Dark Knight and training under Ra’s Al Ghul.
