In the shadows of Gotham, a grieving heir channels pain into purpose. Bruce Wayne takes to the streets in early, brutal strikes against corrupt officers and mob families, shaping the legend of the Bat. His methods spark whispers of fear, but also questions about whether he fights for justice or vengeance. Amid Gotham's shifting power, a masked figure seizes control of the underworld. Black Mask's cruelty and cunning forge a criminal empire unlike anything the city has endured, As violence escalates, Bruce wrestles with the ethics of wielding terror--how far can he go before becoming the very thing he fights? A fragile alliance forms with Detective Jim Gordon, each man wary but recognizing a shared goal to reclaim Gotham. Meanwhile, Harvey Dent emerges as the city's new district attorney, a symbol of lawful reform, through his fiery resolve hints at dangerous fractures. In the shadows, another presence looms: LexCorp's surveillance network quietly catalogues anomalies, including Gotham's new predator in the night. The Bat begins to refine his tools, strategies, and persona, shaping Gotham's myth while confronting his own fractured psyche. Fear becomes his weapon, but also his burden, as the line between man and monster blurs. Post Credits: In the Batcave, encrypted files reveal stolen LexCorp data--surveillance images of a flying figure in Metropolis. Batman narrows his eyes, realizing his war is part of something far larger.
