Fan Casting Bruce Wayne in Batman/Joker (Alternate Titles: Batman v Joker, Batman & Joker)

Bruce Wayne, a wealthy socialite, reclusive billionaire, playboy industrialist, and rich philanthropist, who as a child was traumatized by his parents' murder, obsessively protects Gotham City as a masked vigilante to cope with his traumatic past. He takes the alter ego, as Wayne McCallahan, a private investigator and private detective, secretly operates as the heroic vigilante Batman. Like Robert Pattinson, Matt Reeves sought to explore Batman's detective side more than previous films, drawing inspiration from the films of Alfred Hitchcock and the New Hollywood era, and comics such as Year One (1987), The Long Halloween (1996–97), and Ego (2000). He is more of a "Hitchcockian-Lynchian" protagonist than a superhero, influenced by the works of Alfred Hitchcock and David Lynch. He can be compared to Christian Bale, Ben Affleck, and Robert Pattinson. He is also compared to Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, an industrialist, genius inventor, and playboy who is CEO of Stark Industries and chief weapons manufacturer for the U.S. military, from Iron Man, the 2008 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name and the first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
