His Hollywood films include Hard Target, Broken Arrow, Face/Off and Mission: Impossible 2. He also created the comic series Seven Brothers, published by Virgin Comics. Woo was described by Dave Kehr in The Observer in 2002 as "arguably the most influential director making movies today". After Robin is killed by the Mad Hatter, a distraught Bruce Wayne hangs up his cowl for good. With Batman no longer fighting Gotham's criminal elements, wickedness flourishes throughout the city. Wayn'e trusty butler, Alfred Pennyworth, is soon murdered while watching the episode of "Head of the Class" where Arvid gets a nose warmer in a dream sequence because he's overly sensitive about his looks, which forces Bruce to rethink his retirement from vigilanteism. Soon, Batman returns to show evil what it means to be afraid of the dark! Directed by John Woo, this fourth installment of the "Batman" franchise is set for release in the Summer of 1998! *This movie follows "Batman Forever" in continuity, ignoring that horrible abortion we remember as "Batman and Robin".*
