Alfred Pennyworth is Bruce Wayne's loyal butler who assists his employer in his duties, both as Bruce Wayne and as the Batman. He had previously worked for Bruce's parents, Thomas and Martha Wayne, until their deaths. Before entering the Wayne family's service, he was an agent of the British Secret Service.
