A former military man who suffers from PTSD and has psychological disorders. Upon returning from the war, he starts working at Ace Chemicals. He is an avid gamer, always carrying a deck of cards in his pants pocket. During the confrontation between Batman and Scarecrow at Ace Chemicals in the film's second act, he falls into a vat of chemicals and is presumed dead. He appears again in a post-credit scene where it is revealed that Jack survived with his hair turning a greenish color and his face turning white, giving a maniacal laugh shortly afterwards. His name is revealed thanks to his Ace Chemicals badge, but his last name is never revealed
