Hugo Strange, Arkham Asylum's corrupt new psychiatrist, creates a mind-reading machine that allows him to read peoples thoughts, and finds out about Bruce Wayne's secret alter-ego as Batman. With Batman's secrets and morals and their knees, Strange breaks The Joker, Penguin and Two Face out of prison and gets them to "buy off" the secret for themselves at a deadly auction filled with hostages, including a kidnapped Batman. Can Robin, Batgirl, Jim Gordon and Alfred save him?
