Terry McGinnis, a troubled high school student who becomes the new Batman in a futuristic Gotham City, under the mentorship of an aging Bruce Wayne, after avenging his father's murder at the hands of Derek Powers of Wayne-Powers. Equipped with a high-tech Batsuit, Terry confronts new villains while grappling with the challenges of balancing his superhero life with his personal struggles and Wayne's often-difficult tutelage, carrying on the legacy of the original Dark Knight.
