A few years have passed since the defeat of Superman at the hands of the Justice League. Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson, who is his newly elected Robin, venture into Gotham City's underworld when a sadistic killer known as "The Riddler" leaves behind a trail of cryptic clues. As the evidence begins to lead closer to the past and the scale of The Riddler's plans become clear, Batman and Robin must work together to stop this new adversary before he causes mass destruction across Gotham City itself.
