We start our story in a flash back. Thomas and Martha Wayne are making an appearance at a party, when someone approaches them and begins talking about a secret gathering. Later Thomas gestures to Alfred handing him the envelope and tells him to keep it safe. We then jump to the present to see Alfred staring at the still closed letter. As he hears a service bell go off we see him ready himself before moving downstairs. Bruce is preparing to go to a party and Tim, his newest ward is readying himself to do surveillance as Robin. We follow this tragic tale flashing between then and now where Bruce is following a similar path to his parents and may lead to the discovery of the true reason behind their death
