Daniil Strakhov (born March 2, 1976) is a celebrated Russian stage and screen actor, widely recognized for his aristocratic bearing and depth in dramatic roles. A graduate of the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute, he achieved massive national and international fame for his portrayal of Baron Vladimir Korf in the historical telenovela Poor Nastya (Bednaya Nastya, 2003–2004), which became a cultural phenomenon in Eastern Europe and beyond. Strakhov further solidified his reputation by playing the young Stierlitz in the acclaimed prequel series Isaev (2009) and starring in the hit military-fantasy film We Are from the Future (2008).
