Following the death of Jason Todd at the hands of the joker, Batgirl goes her own way from the Bat-Family for a time, and along the path she encounters a mobster known “The Black Mask”, who is out to take revenge after losing the title of being the head of his own cosmetics company with his Falce Face Society.
