# Ancestral Talons - The Gray Son's Burden The bloodline demands payment. Richard inherits more than his great-grandfather's name—he inherits a curse woven into bone and sinew, a legacy of violence that refuses to die. Each generation of his family has wielded power that corrupts, dominates, and destroys. Now it falls to him. He can feel it clawing beneath his skin, the ancestral gift that promises dominion but exacts a devastating price. Richard must master the talons before they master him—before he becomes another cautionary tale whispered in shadow. But mastery requires sacrifice, and every choice draws him deeper into the family's dark machinery. The question isn't whether he'll survive his inheritance. It's whether anything human will remain when he does.
