Nicolas Cantu (born September 8, 2003), known by his internet pseudonyms junky janker and TheCAN2Network, is an American actor, internet personality, video producer, and former animator. Cantu is best known for being the third voice of Gumball Watterson in the Cartoon Network animated television series The Amazing World of Gumball (2017–2019) and the voice of Leonardo in the animated film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (2023) and its Nickelodeon television adaptation Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2024). Cantu is also well known for starring as Elton Ortiz in the AMC television series The Walking Dead: World Beyond (2020–2021) and as Hark in the film The Fabelmans (2022). A group of teenagers at a Catholic boarding school are rehearsing a production of Romeo and Juliet. At the center of the story are Peter, a sensitive and openly questioning student, and Jason, a popular and deeply religious boy who is secretly in love with him. While Peter wants to live honestly and openly, Jason struggles to reconcile his feelings with his faith and the expectations placed on him. As the school year progresses, friendships are tested and personal conflicts emerge, including issues of identity, desire, and self-acceptance. Jason’s fear of being discovered and his need to appear perfect push him to deny his relationship with Peter, causing emotional distance between them. The pressure eventually becomes unbearable, leading to a tragic accident that forces the entire community to confront the devastating effects of repression, silence, and unresolved inner conflict.
