A group of teenagers at a Catholic boarding school are rehearsing a production of Romeo and Juliet. At the center of the story are Peter, a sensitive and openly questioning student, and Jason, a popular and deeply religious boy who is secretly in love with him. While Peter wants to live honestly and openly, Jason struggles to reconcile his feelings with his faith and the expectations placed on him. As the school year progresses, friendships are tested and personal conflicts emerge, including issues of identity, desire, and self-acceptance. Jason’s fear of being discovered and his need to appear perfect push him to deny his relationship with Peter, causing emotional distance between them. The pressure eventually becomes unbearable, leading to a tragic accident that forces the entire community to confront the devastating effects of repression, silence, and unresolved inner conflict.
