Baldi's Basics

Baldi stands at the precipice of transformation. Once a man consumed by obsession—driven mad by the pursuit of perfection through punishment—he now wages an internal war against his own nature. Every morning brings a choice: surrender to the darkness that shaped him, or forge something new. His schoolhouse becomes a battleground. Students arrive expecting cruelty; instead, they find a teacher wrestling with his demons in real time. Each lesson is a test of his resolve. Each student, a mirror reflecting who he was and who he fights to become. But redemption demands more than intention. It demands sacrifice. As Baldi attempts to rebuild what he destroyed, old forces stir. Those he harmed demand answers. His own fractured psyche resists healing. And somewhere in the halls, the weight of his past waits to pull him back down. Redemption is not a destination. It is a daily reckoning.
