Tiffany 'Tiff' Tannen is the cunning, ruthless matriarch of Hill Valley's most powerful family in 1955. A sharp-tongued, calculating woman with impeccable style and a venomous smile, Tiff uses her family's wealth and social status to control everyone around her. She's obsessed with power, status, and getting what she wants—particularly the meek, kind-hearted Georgina McFly, whom she sees as competition for social dominance. Tiff presents herself as the picture of 1950s femininity and propriety in public, but behind closed doors, she's manipulative, cruel, and willing to destroy anyone who threatens her position. Her greatest fear is losing control or being humiliated, which makes her increasingly dangerous as her plans unravel. She represents the dark side of ambition and the toxicity of unchecked privilege.
