S2-E1: The Day Captain America Died With Ragnarok on the edge of happening, The Avengers became desperate. 20 years ago, Loki had almost won the day until Thor decided to go behind everyone's back and make a pact with the devil herself, Hela. She granted him the Blade of Valhalla, a weapon that would kill Loki, in exchange for his firstborn. Thor laughed as he made the exchange not knowing Jane had just become pregnant with their daughter. As the battle grew bloody, Steve Rogers picked up the Blade of Valhalla to pierce Loki's heart, only to be impaled by the God of Mischief's staff. The world mourned in Captain America's passing as Thor returned home and awaited 9 months only for his child to be killed at the hands of the Godess of Death. With the heroes broken, the Avengers were no more.
