Anthony Dwane Mackie (born September 23, 1978) is an American actor. He gained wide recognition for portraying Sam Wilson / Falcon / Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, beginning with the film Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), and headlining the Disney+ miniseries The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021) and its continuation film Captain America: Brave New World (2025). Mackie made his film debut in 8 Mile (2002), and earned critical recognition for his roles in Brother to Brother (2004), which garnered him an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Actor, and The Hurt Locker (2008), which earned him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the AAFCA Awards. He also played Tupac Shakur in Notorious (2009) and Martin Luther King Jr. in the HBO film All the Way (2016). On television, Mackie starred as Takeshi Kovacs in the second season of Netflix's Altered Carbon (2020) and currently leads the Peacock series Twisted Metal (2023–present). In theatre, he has performed in Broadway and Off-Broadway adaptations, including Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, A Soldier's Play, and Carl Hancock Rux's Talk, for which he won an Obie Award in 2002. Captain America
for Captain America in Avengers: Masters of Evil

It’s hard to determine who will be in the new avengers team since we haven’t entered phase 4 yet, but I think this team is the most likely, I doubt we will see any Netflix characters and I think it’s too early to have characters like moon knight or blade in the team, and definitely not wolverine. I can’t see Doctor Strange or Spider-Man staying as members (maybe spider man). Especially not Strange it doesn’t make much sense him being in the team. I think they’ll all appear at some point but won’t be apart of the core team. Strange will probably stay solo or be apart of the midnight sons and I think Peter works better with his own films we also don’t know what is happening 100% with Sony yet.
